Kristin Dennehy

Kristin joined Herbert Mines Associates in 1996 as an Associate and was named a Principal in 1999. In 2005, Kristin was promoted to Vice President and in 2008, she was named Managing Director. Over her career at HMA, her executive search practice has included clients in wholesale, retail, catalog, and e-commerce, in the apparel, footwear, accessories, home and luxury goods industries.

Kristin has placed senior level executives in a broad range of disciplines, including Chief Executive, Chief Operating, and Chief Financial Officers, as well as senior Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Stores, and Human Resources executives. She has also been active in assignments for the private equity community finding CEOs for their portfolio companies.

Beyond her executive search work, Kristin has also been a contributor in building the firm's internal human capital and technology capabilities through initiatives which have included database development, management of the Executive Research team, and the recruitment and training of the Research and Associate levels in the firm.

Kristin has been in the executive search business since 1992. Prior to joining HMA, she was an Associate with Johnson Smith & Knisely (now a division of TMP Worldwide) in the Fashion and Retail practice.

Kristin's experience prior to executive search includes marketing roles in children's book publishing and store line experience in the specialty store industry.

A native of New York, Kristin earned a B.A. in English from William Smith College. She lives on the North Shore of Long Island with her family.
