Dan Searby
Dan’s executive search practice includes clients in retail, consumer products and foodservice. He leads Herbert Mines Associates’ restaurant practice. Dan has placed senior level executives across a variety of functions and has worked with private equity portfolio companies.
Dan came to the executive search firm of HMA from Restaurant Associates – Patina Group, a former subsidiary of Compass Group PLC. He served as Senior Vice President and the chief marketing officer for this national restaurant and hospitality operator.
Prior to Restaurant Associates – Patina Group, Dan had a fifteen-year career with Coca-Cola as a senior sales and marketing executive. This included extensive work with the company’s foodservice customers. Dan has strong operating experience in customer management, business development, team leadership/people development and brand positioning.
Dan graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and received a MBA from Harvard, where he is active in alumni leadership. He and his wife live in Cold Spring Harbor , New York with their two daughters.
