Andrew Trout

Andrew joined the executive search firm of Herbert Mines Associates in 2007 coming from Korn/Ferry International where he had been a Senior Associate in the firm’s Consumer & Retail Practices. His executive search practice focuses on high-level search engagements across a broad range of functions in the retail, wholesale, and fashion industries.

At Herbert Mines Associates, Andrew serves clients in the consumer and retail industry. He has placed senior level executives in leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, in addition to functional leaders of Merchandising, Stores, Supply Chain, and Marketing. Andrew has executed searches with diverse clients that include Fortune 500 companies, private/family owned businesses, and private equity portfolio companies.

With a passion for human capital and a penchant for retail, Andrew enjoys identifying talent and advising clients on leadership and organizational issues.

A graduate of University of Pennsylvania, Andrew currently resides in Manhattan. He is active with local and national YMCA leadership, competes athletically for the New York Athletic Club, and is involved with art and cultural initiatives through the Apollo Group at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
